I am vowing to not tan all summer. Sure I can go out in the sun but I must wear sunscreen and I must do my best to take care of my skin. I went for a 45 min run in the sun on Saturday and burnt. If we’re all so concerned about keeping our bodies healthy we should take care of our skin, too!
I did an hour of cardio today. 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes of interval training at an approximate average of 9 min per mile. Burned about 500. I feel amazing and I’m still netting 1000 calories. Mind you I stand for 8 hrs a day and lift heavy things but I don’t count that in my activity. So I ate 1500 calories today because I burned 500. I’m going to force myself to eat like normal. It will be hard but I know it’s best.
I have shifted my calorie limit up to 1000 per day. I know this is still bad but since I have been restricting at 850 for the past year or so I think it is a good start. I want to lose 5 pounds in a month. I want 110 so badly.
I am pmsing and I weigh 115. I’m at such a plateau between 111-115. I know that to be lower I would have to resort to extreme measures though or trial and error with different foods.
I’m trying. Still running religiously- I just haven’t been counting calories which is where I falter. It’s so hard to go back to 850, so hungry.
I’m getting faster at my 30 minute runs. This means more calories burnt! I’m going to try for a 45 minuter if the weather holds up on Friday. I keep fluctuating between 110-115 lately but I know this is because of birthday meals and family dinners but I’ve also been running regularily and my leg muscles/bum muscles are hard as rock. Feels good. I’m also noticing core muscles abd I guess that’s just furthur results of running 5 days a week consistently. I’m going to look gooood this summer!

Going shopping and then going to the gym after. I’m thinking 30 mins running, 20 mins elliptical. I hate the elliptical- I think it’s lazy, but I feel like I have no ass from running so much so maybe it can help tone me up.
I put on my bathing suit this morning. How can I weigh 113, be 5.5 have a bmi of 18.8 but still look like a mammoth. I don’t know what to do. I run and I run and I eat healthy but I still have these huge hips and wide ass. Hello pear shaped body. Thanks a lot for choosing me.
On the flipside, I have a gap between my thighs now. Only about an inch but it ‘s there…
I probably ate a total of 1000-1100 cals on Thursday. I burnt 270 calories running though and stand for 8 hrs at work everyday. So I’m thinking I would have netted around 900 to be safe. Still a nice number. Siigh. I never keep any sort of nut butters in my house- I always end up eating them plain. I decided to try out almond butter since it aeemed less appealing than peanut. At first I was doing well but now it’s becoming a nightly habit to stick my hands in the tub. I’m throwing it out tomorrow.
I was 114 this morning. But what do I expect with period bloat, right? I always gain about 3 pounds at this time. Can’t wait till it’s gone and I shrink. I just have to make sure I drink 4 of my 24oz water bottles a day. I’m adding crunches, squats, leg lifts and bum lifts to my night workout now. Running is a morning thing.
So my boyfriend works out of town once a month for a week.
We’ve decided to go to a hot springs for three days on Sunday. I decided, when he left, that I was going to eat healthy and run everyday. The running part has been fine… it’s the healthy eating that for some reason has been sabotaged by my coworkers. Apparently on Valentines day everyone has to eat poorly and bring in cookies and cheesecake to work. Awesome. The majority of my calories today have been in cheesecake. I ran/BMR’d most of it off though. Okay, so here is my plan for the next three days so that I can look good in a bikini on Sunday and use up some of my perishable groceries…
I bought new runners. Asics Kayano’s, super pricey but so worth it to get me motivated to go run on a treadmill (I usually run outside but I live in Canada, it’s -35 degrees celsius here).
No matter how long I go without running I can still run 40-45 minutes straight without stopping. I watch some of the other girls who workout and can only run for 30 seconds and then walk for 3 minutes. That makes me sad.
Anyways, time to make breakfast/lunch. I will post what I made after!
Went for my first run of the year today. Living in Canada it’s kind of hard to run outdoors sometimes. Today it was only -2 so I thought I’d go for a little warm up run of 2.5 miles. Still burnt 225 calories. May or may not have an ear ache.
When I lived at home I used to binge scour the boxes of raisin bran to find every last sugar covered raisin. I would stand in a trance picking them out for at least 20 minutes at a time. That was bad, since it would be late at night when everyone was asleep and it would put me over my calorie goal.
My mother bought me a box of raisin bran for Christmas as a joke.
Today I’m 117. I was 112 when I moved back home. I hadn’t lived back home for a long time and there were plenty things to binge on which I shouldn’t have. Either way, I gained 5 pounds and lost a lot of muscle as I didn’t run as much. I’m using this Tumblr, like many else, to document my trip from 117 to 105. I live on my own now and purchase only healthy (or relatively healthy) foods. I live near my campus gym and plan on running 4 times a week minimum. I can do this
